# WANDR App — Terms of Service **Last Updated:** May 30, 2026 --- ## Agreement to Terms By accessing or using the WANDR mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service. --- ## Use of the Service ### Eligibility - You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. - You must provide accurate and complete registration information. ### Account Responsibilities - You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. - You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. - You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. ### Acceptable Use You agree NOT to: - Violate any applicable laws or regulations. - Harass, threaten, bully, or harm other users. - Share illegal, offensive, violent, or harmful content. - Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data. - Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure. - Use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes. - Impersonate any person or entity. - Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code. --- ## User-Generated Content ### Ownership You retain ownership of content you create and share through the Service (messages, photos, audio, trip data). ### License By sharing content through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service as necessary to operate features (e.g., displaying your messages to group members, sharing your location with trip participants). ### Prohibited Content You must not post, upload, or share content that: - Contains hate speech, slurs, or promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin - Constitutes harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats of violence - Contains sexually explicit material or nudity - Promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities - Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance - Is spam, scams, phishing, or misleading content - Infringes intellectual property rights of others - Contains personal information of others without their consent ### Content Moderation We reserve the right to: - Remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms - Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies - Review reports submitted by users and take appropriate action - Cooperate with law enforcement when required ### Reporting Users can report inappropriate content or users via in-app reporting tools. We will review all reports and take action as appropriate. --- ## Location Services - Location features require your explicit consent. - You can disable location sharing at any time through your device settings. - During trips, your real-time location may be shared with other trip participants. - We are not responsible for actions taken by others based on shared location data. - You should not share your live location with people you do not trust. --- ## Account Deletion - You may delete your account at any time through the app's Profile screen. - Account deletion permanently removes your profile, private account data, group memberships, plans you created, solo trips, live location records, push tokens, subscription/billing data, feedback submissions, blocked users list, usage statistics, and account-specific storage files. - Shared group and trip records may remain when deleting them would break the experience for other users. In those cases, WANDR removes your identity from the shared record and displays the author or participant as "Deleted user." - Some data processed by third-party services (Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat, SendGrid) may be retained according to their data retention policies. - For details on what is deleted, see our Privacy Policy. --- ## Intellectual Property - The Service and its original content (excluding user content) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. - You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Service without permission. --- ## Disclaimers - The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. - We do not guarantee the accuracy of routes, directions, navigation guidance, or estimated travel times. - We are not liable for accidents, injuries, property damage, or any other damages arising from use of the Service. - Navigation features are intended as aids only. Always follow traffic laws and exercise judgment while driving or riding. --- ## Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. --- ## Termination - We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. - You may terminate your account at any time via the in-app deletion feature. - Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. - Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including limitations of liability, disclaimers, and governing law). --- ## Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tamil Nadu, India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. --- ## Changes to Terms We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
