# Delete Your WANDR Account WANDR lets you delete your account and associated private data directly from the app. ## How to Delete Your Account 1. Open the WANDR app on your device. 2. Go to the **Profile** tab. 3. Tap **Settings**. 4. Scroll to the bottom and tap **Delete Account**. 5. Confirm your identity with your password or Google sign-in. 6. Your account deletion starts immediately. ## What Data Is Deleted Account deletion removes private data tied to your account. - Your profile information, including name, photo, phone number, and blood group - Your emergency contact details - Solo trip history and live trip location data tied to your account - Your group memberships - Plans you created - Profile pictures and account-specific uploaded media - Push notification tokens - Feedback submissions you've made - Your blocked users list - Subscription and billing information stored in WANDR's database - Usage statistics and analytics tied to your account ## What Shared History Is Anonymized Some shared records stay available to other group or trip participants so their history still makes sense. When this happens, WANDR removes your identity and shows you as **Deleted user**. Shared records that may be anonymized include: - Group and trip chat messages - Shared trip records where other participants remain - Voice-note metadata - SOS alert metadata - Moderation reports > **Warning:** Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your private > account data is removed, and retained shared history is anonymized. ## Timeframe Most data is deleted immediately upon account deletion.
